A good black and white toning should be expressive, and not boring, and here you've achieved that very well. Again you've used the darkened edges thing, this time it appears much better (no longer makes the image distorted). I like the pale line on the left side, it does its purpose to make the image look older.

The sight itself contributes to that old photograph appearance - simple fence, no asphalted roads, nothing has ever seen a mower, and the house and the stone wall is just the cherry on the cake.

What bothers me is that the horizon blurs too much with the sky and I only noticed the sea after a close look. Unfortunately, the barely visible wire on the taller fence further interferes with the poor contrast and aggravates the problem. Which is rather odd - it doesn't look like a contrast problem, seeing how dark some parts are. I'd suggest the burn tool, but that's just me. I'm not an expert in anyway.

Why the odd title? Seems a total parody of the ancient look you're trying to convey here <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>
